If you would rather not take the car to a main dealer, an independent garage can do the same servicing and repairs. Mike M had a thermostat and fan fault fixed on his Vauxhall Astra and said it saved him a lot compared with a main dealer.

Plenty of Southend streets have no off-road parking. If the car needs looking at where it is, mention the parking when you call about the mobile mechanic and recovery service.
