Signs your brakes need looking at
Squealing or grinding when you brake, a brake warning light, a pedal that feels soft or travels further than it used to, the car pulling to one side, or a vibration through the pedal or steering wheel. Any of these is a reason to get the brakes checked now rather than at the next service.

Clutch trouble
The classic sign is slipping: the revs rise but the car does not pick up speed, especially uphill or in a high gear. Other signs are a biting point right at the top of the pedal, difficulty getting into gear, or juddering as you pull away.
Suspension
Knocks over bumps, a car that wanders or leans more than it should, or tyres wearing unevenly can all point to worn suspension parts. Describe it on WhatsApp and book the car in to have it checked.
